In an attempt to learn the Japanese language, and to have a better understanding of what one of my favorite Japanese Singers is saying in her songs, I broke out my Japanese translation dictionary and dusted it off. I had translated it using the romaji translations of the lyrics found anywhere online. It took me a good week getting the hang of things before a had my rough draft of the translated lyrics. If you ever watched Star Wars(who hasn’t?!), Jedi Yoda (the small green guy) speeks in this broken english that doesn’t make much sense to some. Well, thats exactly how it looked when I completed the translation. From there, I reworded it in the sense that would sound right to anyone that speaks english fluently. Then, I imported both the ramaji and english translations into Aegisub to time the lyrics to the music video, and then I loaded the video into After Effects and imported the timed subs using pt_SSA Karaoke Animator. I added a bit of animation to the ramaji lyrics and exported the file to a .mp4 container. What you see below is the end product. Enjoy!
