Well it looks like Looxcie is pulling the plug on their consumer cameras and products and shifting their business towards enterprises video instead. Time to look for other option. GoPro?

The Looxcie HD is a lightweight video camera designed to be a hands free and capable of live streaming, recording up to 1080p and able to capture the last 30 seconds with the instant replay feature. Off the bat you will notice it has no built in screen. That is because it connects to your mobile device via Wifi to be utilized as your viewfinder as well as adjust your recording resolutions and control your live stream feed. You will have to download the app from Google Play or iTunes respectively.

Looxcie HD – Unboxed

I WON!!! Looxcie has a giveaway they are currently promoting here (as of 05/29/2013). So I probably entered maybe 8-9 times and was about to say the hell with it, when I decided to give it one more go. Next morning I got a Facebook message from Looxcie saying I won the daily giveaway! Whoohooo! Well after about 3-4 weeks after, I finally got it in the mail.
